As most of my friends know, I had a blog while Kristy was still pregnant. Sadly I’ve let that domain go as it was very descriptive of myself, that ANYONE could read. I’ve decided to use one my long time domains to publish a blog upon. This blog will be here to stay, until I get bored with it, or until I decide I don’t want to renew my 8 year old domain.

What’s new with the family…

The family is doing very well. Stephanie is now being home schooled (I can’t believe she’s already in Kindergarten!!) and is doing very well with it. She’s writing most of her letters now, and all her numbers (though sometimes she confuses 2′s with S’s).  We got her school pictures done, and she calls them her “homework pictures”. They turned out SO good. Will post them on Facebook but not on the blog.

Lucy just had a birthday, and started her schooling on Tuesday. Her teacher is the same as James’ and she (the teacher) is putting a plan together to teach the kids sign language (her son is deaf), so we can better communicate with James on his bad days. Lucy is also wanting to do homework, and will be able to do so with this new teacher. Granted the homework won’t be as demanding as Stephanie’s, but it will make her feel better that she’s doing homework like her sister. Lucy also had pictures done, and they turned out really good as well, she was super fussy but as soon as we gave her a fake flower, she turned into a princess.

James is doing spectacular, no more feeding tube!! His hearing aids should be in within the next week or so, and he’s got a fantastic Audiologist, who is super patient with us in finding out more information on Auditory Neuropathy. I’m not going to lie, it’s been taxing on both me and Kristy, but it’s worth it. James has went from dying for a few seconds to having no health problems having only his hearing dis-function.

Kristy is doing well as well, she’s doing all the kid’s school work, keeping up with our never ending battle of laundry, and putting up with me! And me? Well…I’m doing good as well. Working a lot to pay all the bills, and to keep up with all the necessities around the house. Not a lot new with Kristy and I…we’re boring
